In response to the City Council's Planning and Community Development Committee's request to make adjustments to the current Short Term Rentals (STR) ordinance, our department will be working with a task force to review the ordinance and recommend amendments focused on the following areas:

  • Permit compliance
  • Compliance with the Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT)
  • Strategies for ordinance enforcement and violations
  • Events and party violations
  • Permit fees
  • Limited Liability Corporations (LLC) versus property owners
  • Platform obligations
