2022-2027 Bond Project: District 8 F-Streets Reconstruction
2022-2027 Bond Project: District 8 F-Streets Reconstruction
The Bond Project will construct roadway improvements to include sidewalks, curbs, driveway approaches, and other improvements as applicable and within available funding.
To prioritize roadway repairs, the City grades most streets in San Antonio from A to F. Using special equipment, the City produces a pavement condition index (PCI) from 0 to 100 for about 4,242 miles of roadways in San Antonio.
While about 43 percent - or about 1,804 miles - of these streets make a perfect A, about 11 percent - or about 471 miles - are failing with a PCI of 40 or below. The 2022-2027 bond program includes $100.5M in funding to reconstruct several so-called F-streets in each council district.
