Notice of a City Public Hearing Regarding Naming of Westside Creeks Ecosystem

 

You are invited to attend a public hearing related to the proposed naming of the Westside Creeks Ecosystem, which is comprised of the San Pedro, Apache, Alazán or Martínez creeks. At the hearing, you will have the opportunity to express your support or opposition to the suggested name.


This meeting site is accessible to persons with disabilities. Parking is available. If you require Spanish, ASL, or other language translation services, please notify us 72 hours in advance of the meeting.

Proposed Name:
“Roberto Rodriguez Westside Creeks Ecosystem”


Roberto Rodriguez has been a proponent of the Westside Creeks Ecosystem Restoration Project since joining the San Antonio River Authority Board of Directors in 2001.

The ecosystem of creeks is proposed to be renamed. The San Pedro, Apache, Alazán or Martínez creeks will retain their individual names. For more information on the ecosystem restoration project, visit WestsideCreeks.com
