The City of San Antonio's Public Works Department will construct general park and rehabilitation improvements of park facilities within available funding which may include shade enhancements as applicable. Parks may include: Palo Alto Terrace Park, Medina Base Park, Spicewood Park, and Gateway Terrace Park.

What you need to know:
• Construction is scheduled to start March 2026 through December 2026 at Medina Base Road Park as part of the District 4 Parks, 2022 Bond Project.
• The project will include a new dog park with shade structure, basketball court resurfacing, electrical work and basketball lighting for a new basketball shade structure, site furnishings and landscape services, and skate park renovation.
Site Closures:
• Medina Base Skate Park will be closed from March 16th to June 30th.
