Woller Road Interim Drainage Improvements
Woller Road Interim Drainage Improvements
The residents of Hunter Chase and Woller Creek neighborhoods have reported ponding water and poor drainage along Woller Road. This project serves as an interim solution to the larger ponding issues on Woller Road. There is a concrete lined channel and underground system at the northern intersection of Woller Road and Corian Path. Water from Corian Path and Woller Road is not entering the channel and is causing ponding at this intersection. Following the community meeting with City Council District 8 in March 2022, a scope was created to focus on getting the flows from Corian Path into the adjacent concrete channel. A Feasibility Study was completed in June 2022 and provided options for interim design and estimated costs. A combination of a flume and roadwork was designed to move water out of the intersection into the adjoining drainage channel.
