The Bond Project will construct general park and rehabilitation improvements of park facilities within available funding. Parks may include Kenwood and Olympia.

What you need to know:
• Construction is scheduled to start March 2026 through May 2026 at Terry Court Park as part of the District 1 Parks, 2022 Bond Project.
• The construction start dates has been moved from February to March to accommodate the schedule of neighboring businesses.
• The project will install a new drinking fountain, pollinator garden, trees, irrigation and site furnishings.
Site Closures:
• Temporary closures of Terry Ct. (street) between March 6th to March 13th.
Water Shut-Off Notice:
• Construction crews will be working on the SAWS water line at Terry Ct. (street). This work will require a temporary water shut-off for up to 6 hours.
• On March 6th, crews will be in the street conducting an exploratory excavation.
• SAWS utility work is scheduled to begin the following week on March 9th.
• The water shut-off is planned for March 9th, depending on findings from the initial assessment. Residents should be prepared for a possible service interruption on that day.
• Crews will work as quickly as possible to restore the water service promptly and to clear Terry Ct. of any construction equipment once work is complete.

• Construction will start 11/3/2025 at Labor Street Park as part of the District 1 Parks, 2022 Bond Project.
• The project includes a new basketball court with bleachers and a walkway, as well as the removal of the existing baseball field.
• The dog park and other areas of the park will remain open during construction.
