What you need to know:
Nueva at South Alamo – Southwest Lane Closure
- Beginning as early as Monday, November 3, 2025 there will be no eastbound right turn onto South Alamo due to the Nueva at South Alamo southwest lane closure.
- Access to Nueva provided from South Presa and closed to thru traffic.

South Alamo Traffic Switch
- Beginning as early as Monday, November 3, 2025 the contractor will switch traffic on South Alamo from Nueva to Cesar Chavez to the center lane.
- The eastside sidewalks will be reopening along Hemisfair, and the westside sidewalks will be closed.

South Alamo Overnight Work
- Beginning as early as Tuesday, November 4, 2025 thru Thursday, November 6, 2025, the contractor will fully close vehicular and pedestrian access between the hours of 10:00pm to 6:00am each day on South Alamo between the Hilton Palacio Del Rio Hotel driveways
- Each morning South Alamo will have a single southbound traffic lane open
- This work is necessary to allow the completion of the utility conduit for the Monarch Hotel
- To facilitate access for hotel guests and valet service for the hotels, police officers will be available at Market Street & South Alamo intersection. See map provided
