Train horns are sounding around the Haven for Hope, as the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has temporarily suspended this Quiet Zone until the deficiencies are remedied. When this happens, trains must sound their horns for safety.*
We understand the inconvenience being caused by the noise of the train horns, and the Transportation Department is committed to fixing this issue as quickly as possible.
*Train horns will continue to be heard until FRA and Union Pacific confirm and approve the new Quiet Zone features.
