Construction Update - September 5, 2025
 

Contractor J3 Construction Company continues to work on center raised medians on N. New Braunfels Ave. from Paso Hondo St. to E. Houston St., with excavation for irrigation systems installation, pedestrian signals, and raised medians' concrete pour for new curbs. Please review detailed information below:

 

  • One southbound travel lane and one northbound travel lane remain open from E. Houston St. to Paso Hondo St.
  • The median openings at Canton St., E. Crockett St. and Gibbs St. are closed to traffic.
  • Sidewalks, driveways and parking lots on both sides of the street will be open and accessible for businesses at all times
  • All work is weather permitted and subject to change
