The pedestrian warning beacon on S. WW White Road and MLK Dr./Lord Road is operational near the Idea School campus. There is no button to push - instead, a sensor recognizes individuals preparing to cross and initiates the flashing light sequence.
- When a pedestrian is in the crosswalk, the RRFB stops automobile traffic to allow pedestrians to safely cross
- Provides a safer street for all road users
