What You Need to Know:
Capital Excavation is continuing work on the new sidewalk and underground drainage system along Evans Road, with construction expected to run through September 2026. Crews are currently focusing on the eastbound side of Evans Road—specifically the eastbound travel lanes, the south sidewalk, and the median on both sides of the Roan Park turnaround.
Traffic Impact
Two-way traffic will be maintained on Evans Road.
Evans Road (Eastbound): Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane leading up to the Roan Park intersection.
Evans Road (Westbound): All Westbound travel lanes remain fully open to traffic
South Sidewalk (Eastbound Side): The sidewalk along the south side of Evans Road is under construction and closed to all pedestrian traffic. The westbound sidewalk remains open
Roan Park Turnaround: Crews are actively working inside the median area. Please exercise extra caution when using the turnaround.
