What You Need to Know:

The contractor, Capital Excavation, continues work on the new sidewalk and underground drainage system along Evans Road. Construction is expected to run through October, 2026. Crews are currently working on a portion of the eastbound travel lane and will continue construction along the south sidewalk and within the medians on both sides of the Roan Park turnaround.

Traffic & Pedestrian Impacts

• A portion of the eastbound travel lane on Evans Road is closed, reducing traffic to a single lane leading up to the Roan Park intersection.
• Daily Lane Closures will occur along the eastbound sidewalk for construction work from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This lane will re-open to traffic at the end of each workday.
• Westbound Evans Road will not be impacted; all westbound travel lanes will remain open.
• The Roan Park Turnaround will have active crews working within the median areas on both sides.
• Pedestrian Access along the south side of Evans Road is closed due to construction. The north-side sidewalk remains open. Please refer to the map below for the designated detour route.
