Alamo Area Climate Plan
Alamo Area Climate Plan
The City of San Antonio was awarded a $1 Million Grant from the US EPA for the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) program. This grant will be used for three interrelated initiatives:
- Updating the City of San Antonio Climate Action and Adaptation Plan with the priority of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Building a regional climate planning and action effort in collaboration with the Alamo Area Council of Governments, focused on their 13-county service area.
- Prioritizing emissions reduction strategies that can be implemented on a regional scale allowing for future EPA implementation grant funding.
Share your feedback to shape your community's future!
Building a more sustainable and resilient San Antonio is a community and City effort. We’d like to hear from you as we continue climate planning discussions in our region.
Share your thoughts on the following statements regarding solid waste, water, wastewater, energy, land use, and transportation in San Antonio.
Your survey responses are very important for this grant funding and will also be incorporated into the SA Climate Ready Action & Adaptation Plan update. The survey closes on March 31, 2025 and should take no more than five minutes to complete.
For more information, please email Patricia McWilliams, CPRG Coordinator, with the Office of Sustainability.
