Reconnecting Communities Across I 37
Planning for better access between Downtown and the East Side (Houston St. to Carolina St.)
The City of San Antonio is launching a comprehensive planning process to improve connectivity across Interstate 37. The interstate is a major barrier for people walking, rolling or cycling between the East Side and Downtown, and community feedback will inform near-term and long-term solutions. The planning process will result in a strategic plan and preliminary design package for priority projects.
