We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation while these improvements are in progress. While improvements are underway, here is some helpful information about the improvement project to assist you:
- Vehicles should not be parked on the Northside of the street. If vehicles are in the path of the project and no one is available to move it, it will be towed to one of the streets in your area.
- Traffic detour barricades and signs will be provided to guide traffic through the construction as needed.
- The sidewalk on the Southside of the Street level will be opened for full pedestrian access.
- In the event of adverse weather, environmental conditions, unforeseen equipment issues, or schedule conflicts, work will likely be rescheduled as soon as conditions permit.
SUMMARY: Work will be occurring on the North side of the W Market St. bridge during Phase 2. Vehicular traffic on the north most lane will be closed for the duration of Phase 2 from Main Plaza to mid-block Market before St Mary’s intersection. Pedestrian and ADA access to Riverwalk will remain available on the north side of the W Market St. bridge, except during critical overhead repairs which will be represented in the schedule.
