The Covel Road (Ray Ellison Boulevard to Old Pearsall Road) Project includes the construction of roadway improvements to include driveway approaches, drainage, and other improvements as applicable and within available funding.

What you need to know:
- Improving Drainage: New storm culvert installation to manage water flow and provide flood relief for Medio Creek.
- Energy Infrastructure: Local energy infrastructure upgrade by placing a new gas main safely beneath Medio Creek.
- Covel Road Closure: Covel Road continues to be closed from Hercules Point (west of Ray Ellison) to Patrol Road and it will remain in place through Fall 2026 (estimated October through December).
- Resident Access: Residents living on Hercules Point can access their neighborhood by coming from Loop 410.
- All access to Waste Management will only be provided from Old Pearsall Rd.
- All work is weather permitting.
