| The Pass at Market Square

Open daily from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The Pass at Market Square is a new recreation area located at the IH-35 elevated highway underpass between Dolorosa and Commerce streets. It features a family-friendly recreation area that includes a basketball court, ping pong tables, swing chairs and tables, murals, and more. The City’s Arts & Culture Department worked with local artists to paint murals on the columns at The Pass that reflect the history of Market Square.
The Pass is free and open to the public daily from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Paid parking is available nearby in the Market Square Lot, 612 W. Commerce St. Guests can reserve sports equipment by contacting the Market Square Team at 210-207-8600.

| Mural Series Adds Vibracy to The Pass at Historic Market Square
The City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture has announced the completion of The Echoes of Market Square mural series by San Antonio artists Eva Marengo Sanchez and Mike Arguello. The artwork tells the stories of Historic Market Square’s rich history and vibrant future and can be found on eight large columns under I-35 between Dolorosa and Commerce streets in the new urban recreation area called The Pass.
