The Stampede takes place on the main streets of Historic Downtown San Antonio, starting and ending at Milam Park. After partaking in the Stampede, you don’t want to miss the Wrangler Chuckwagon Breakfast, Cattle Drive & Parade and great entertainment, with the Vaquero Cook-Off after the parade! Step back in time to celebrate our historic Texas roots and kick-off the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo! The parade route runs through historic Houston Street and features participants who represent the heritage of our Lone Star State and the Old West. Fort Hood 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Sam Houston Caisson, Texas Heritage Riders and of course, a herd of Texas Longhorns are just some of the snapshots that celebrate the legacy of our great State.
9:30 AM - Rodeo Wrangler Breakfast on Santa Rosa St (between Houston and Commerce St). Come check out the fun kid's games, family activities and chuck wagon biscuits and gravy!
