Celebrate the end of summer and back to school time at Market Square’s Last Blast Summer Blast! The event features live entertainment, food vendors, artisan vendors, Zumba, kids' games and activities, themed characters, and much more! Stop by the Last Blast Summer Bash and enjoy a special dedication ceremony for The Pass. The Pass is a new recreation area located at the IH-35 elevated highway underpass between Dolorosa and Commerce streets. The Pass is a family-friendly recreation area that includes a basketball court, ping pong tables, swing chairs and tables, murals, and more. The community is invited to attend the dedication ceremony and enjoy food, music, a limited amount of back-to-school giveaways, and kids’ games. Centro de Artes Opening Reception

From SA to SA: From South America to San Antonio, curated by Guillermina Zabala, encapsulates the astonishing power of documentary photography as a direct representation of our realities and as a force of social change. This exhibition of Pan-American documentary photography presents over 200 remarkable works from 20 award-winning Latin American and Latinx photographers living in South, Central and North America. The community is invited to attend an opening reception on Thursday, August 10 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibition will run from August 10, 2023 through December 30, 2023.

Downtown Tuesday offers FREE parking in city-operated meters, lots, and garages, on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Please remember that free parking is suspended at the Houston Street Garage on Majestic Theatre Performance Nights.

City Tower Sundays

Sunday...Sunday...SUNDAY! Free Parking at City Tower!

City Tower Sundays offers free parking on Sundays from 7 a.m.-midnight at the City Tower Garage located at 117 W. Commerce. Entrances to the garage are on Main Street and Flores Street. For directions from where you are, please visit our website.
