The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has temporarily suspended the Quiet Zone as the Transportation Department makes improvements to the D1 South Quiet Zone. When this happens, trains must sound their horns for safety. We understand the inconvenience being caused by the noise of the train horns, and our department is committed to fixing this issue as quickly as possible.
