District 10 (Austin #1) Quiet Zone

The San Antonio Transportation Department will be making improvements to four Quiet Zone railroad crossings within District 10 (Austin #1) to maintain compliance with federal regulations. Improvements include:

  • Installing signs
  • Adding and refreshing pavement markings
  • Concrete median work

Lane closure/Detours:

  • Green Mountain: Detour – 1 day for signs and striping and 2 days for concrete work (3 days)
  • O’Connor: Lane Closure – 1 day for signs/striping
  • Classen: Detour – 1 day for signs and striping and 1 days for concrete work (2 days)
  • Thousand Oaks: Lane Closure – 1 day for signs/striping
