Complete Streets
A Complete Streets policy improves the way San Antonio designs and builds streets and roads. Instead of prioritizing motor vehicles, neighborhoods are designed and built for the safety of everyone including those who walk, bike, use a wheelchair, use public transportation, and drive. In September 2024, the City of San Antonio updated its Complete Streets Policy. By improving upon our City's Complete Streets Policy, San Antonio will be better equipped to build meaningful streets that are accessible by all road users while recognizing that not every street will have the same adaptations or improvements.
