2017 - 2022 Bond Project: Bulverde Road Phase I (Butterleigh Drive to North of Quiet Meadow Street)
The Bond Project will reconstruct and widen Bulverde Road with curbs, sidewalks, driveway approaches, traffic signal and drainage improvements, as approprate and within available funding. This is a continuation of Bexar County's Street and Drainage Improvements Project to realign Jung Road to Quiet Meadow.

Project at Substantial Completion:
We are excited to let you know that traffic is once again open in both the Northbound and Southbound lanes of Bulverde, as of the second week of October, 2024. The contractor will be working on a final punch list of repair items for the next 4 weeks. Please expect intermittent lane closures as they complete some of these final items of work.
FINAL PROJECT COMPLETION ACTIVITIES:
Completed from September 25 - October 8, 2024:
- Tree installation October 2, 2024
- Final roadway striping layout September 25, 2024
- Striping and paint completion date October 5, 2024
- Final signal installs/programming complete on October 8, 2024
- Both lanes open to traffic, as of the second week of October, 2024
