Brady Quiet Zone

Brady Quiet Zone

The San Antonio Transportation Department will be making improvements to the Brady Quiet Zone to maintain compliance with federal regulations. The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has temporarily suspended this Quiet Zone due to deficiencies identified at nearby railroad crossings. When this happens, trains must sound their horns for safety. We understand the inconvenience being caused by the noise of the train horns, and our department is committed to fixing this issue as quickly as possible.
