What you need to know:
Capital Excavation will begin work on Evans Rd. from July 2026 through Winter 2027.
Construction of the new underground drainage network is scheduled to start as early as July 6, 2026. Contractors will start work on the south side of the eastbound travel lane on Evans Road, as well as the tunraround at Evans Road & Roan Park intersection.
- Lane Closures: Evans road will remain open to two-way traffic. One eastbound lane on Evans Road will close.
- Detour: Drivers must use the provided detour route to access Roan Park from the eastbound Evans Road.
- Property access: All neighborhood driveways, businesses and schools will remain fully accessible
