Acme Road Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon
Vision Zero SA and the San Antonio Transportation Department have completed the installation of a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) in front of Wrenn Middle School at the intersection of Acme Rd and Arnaz Dr.
The PHB:
- Creates a safer experience for pedestrians crossing the street
- Stops all automobile traffic to allow pedestrians to safely cross
- Provides a safer street for all road users
