This project will construct a Shared Use Path (SUP) using available Right-of-Way along the east side of Abe Lincoln Rd. from Horn Blvd. to Eckhert Rd. The SUP will consist of a 8’-12’ wide concrete path and associated amenities.

Project Background
This project was selected by the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) for the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) on June 21,2022 and as part of the City of San Antonio’s Adopted Budget for Fiscal Year 2023. Abe Lincoln Rd. is local type street with connection to Eckhert Rd. and Horn Blvd. The addition of a Shared Use Path (SUP) along Abe Lincoln Rd. will improve connectivity for pedestrians and bicyclists in the area.
