What you need to know

J3 Company continues making great progress on the Military Drive project! Here is the latest construction and traffic update for the area.

Traffic & Safety Updates:

  • Terraces at the Reserve access: Single lane closure at each entrance to the subdivision continues; Richland Hills is Entrance Only - Sequoia Height is Exit Only

  • Military Drive: Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times throughout construction.

  • Pedestrian Access: North sidewalks along Military Drive remain closed. South sidewalk remains open. Clear pedestrian detours are marked.

What we are doing:

  • Contractor is continuing the installation of the new underground drainage system along Military Drive, starting at Sequoia Height and moving west toward Warren High School and Hunt Lane. This drainage work is expected to be completed in early September 2026.

  • Crews will also continue working on the north side of Military Drive, moving from Richland Hills toward Warren High School. Expect ongoing street grading, paving, and sidewalk concrete work in this area. This phase of the project is anticipated to wrap up by the end of September.
