Zarzamora Pedestrian Improvements
This project will provide for:
- Multi-modal improvements to provide vehicular and pedestrian safety improvements including sidewalks, driveways, traffic signal upgrades, signing and striping throughout the 7-mile corridor
- Dedicated bus lanes from SW Military to Nogalitos

Current Work :
- Contractor will continue to install small roadway signs along North Zarzamora corridor.
- Crews will continue work on driveway penetrations, curbs, and sidewalks from Rivas Street to W.Poplar Street on the north bound lane.
Planned Work :
- Crews will start work on driveway penetrations, curbs, and sidewalks between Guadalupe Street and Cesar Chavez Blvd at the east side of Zarzamora.
- Crew will start work on driveways penetrations, curb, and sidewalks between W. Martin Street and Menchaca Street.
- Crew will being traffic foundation work at the intersection of Mayfield Street and Stonewall Street.
Special Notes :
- Construction hours are from 9am to 4pm daily.
- Varying lane closures will occur throughout the duration of the project.
