In 2023, the Office of Historic Preservation partnered with San Antonio UNESCO Creative City Of Gastronomy, the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office, Casa Navarro State Historic Site, the Texas Historical Commission, and the Bexar County Spanish Archive, to create Tejas Tastebuds - an exploration of  San Antonio's culinary heritage by highlighting traditional dishes dating back to the 1870s!

The next program will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, featuring a live demonstration of tacos.
