The project logo Capacity Building & Bonding Assistance Program

This program is designed to help eligible local small, minority, and woman-owned business owners bid of City of San Antonio construction contracts. Applicants accepted into the program will receive educational resources, as well as access a $500,000 pool of funds for those in need of assistance to cover costs related to City of San Antonio bonding requirements in order to bid on City contracts.

The goal of this program is to help increase the number of eligible small, minority, and woman-owned businesses who are actively bidding on City construction contracts.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Small, minority, and woman-owned businesses seeking City construction contracts who are located within the San Antonio city limits.

WHAT CAN BE GAINED?

  • Tailored needs assessment, includes:

    • Educational support

    • Technical assistance

    • Financial literacy

  • One-on-one bonding counseling

  • Project support if awarded a City contract

  • Access to a $500,000 revolving pool of funds, if needed, to cover costs related to City bonding requirements
