Safe Routes to Roosevelt
Vision Zero San Antonio, an initiative led by The City of San Antonio Transportation Department, is piloting a program to create safer routes for students to walk, roll, and bike to Roosevelt Dual Language Academy. By encouraging students and parents to get out of their cars, the program promotes healthy habits, a cleaner environment, pedestrian safety and community building.
Vision Zero San Antonio, una iniciativa del Departamento de Transporte de la Ciudad de San Antonio, se asocia con las escuelas (Roosevelt) para crear rutas de caminar, andar en bicicleta y patinar a las escuelas que son seguras. Al alentar a los estudiantes y padres a salir de sus autos, se promueve hábitos saludables, un medio ambiente más limpio, la seguridad de los peatones y la reunión de comunidad.

Roosevelt Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day
Join us for our Walk, Bike, and Roll to School event, starting at the parking lot at 115 St. Louis Ave. and finishing at Roosevelt Dual Language Academy (3823 Fortuna). Celebrate the benefits of walking and biking with students, parents, teachers, and the community!
