Westside Art Projects Report
Westside Art Projects Report
In February 2020, the Department of Arts & Culture opened a SA SpeakUp survey to involve the community in development of future Westside public art projects, including a mural on the wall of The Center for Healthcare Service’s Paul Elizondo Adult Behavioral Health Clinic (928 W. Commerce St.) and a sculpture at Frio and Commerce. The department also held a meeting on February 24, 2020 to collect input. The survey distributed collected feedback on the:
- Aspects those surveyed would like to see in the design, including the feeling they would want evoked by the art
- Materials that should be used in the creation of artwork
- Where those surveyed would like to see artwork
