Senior Summit: Rise to Graduation

 

The San Antonio Municipal Court is pleased to announce Fall dates for the Senior Summit. Senior Summit is dedicated to supporting high school seniors facing challenges in completing their education. Through interactive workshops, mentorship sessions, inspiring guest speakers, and engaging activities, the Summit aims to empower seniors to overcome obstacles and successfully navigate their journey to graduation.

 

Participating School Districts

Seniors from the following San Antonio School Districts are invited to participate on the following days:

  • Friday, September 20, 2024 – San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD)
  • Friday, October 18, 2024 – Northside Independent School District (NISD)
  • Friday, November 15, 2024 – South San Antonio Independent School District
  • Friday, January 17, 2025 – East Central Independent School District (ECISD) and Southside Independent School District

 

Program Overview

Seniors and their families will participate in a three-phase program tailored to address their individual needs.

Guidance and Planning: Juvenile Case Managers and district representatives will provide essential guidance, support, and resources in crafting individualized graduation plans with each senior.

Judicial Insight: Seniors and their families will meet with a judge to discuss their plans, receive clarity, and explore how their academic achievements benefit our community.

Community Resources: Community partners will be on hand to advise seniors and their families on available support services and post-graduation opportunities.
