Airport Advisory Commission

The mission of the Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) is to advise the Aviation Director on matters affecting the City’s airports and air transportation initiatives to include noise compatibility issues. The AAC comprises 19 at-large members appointed by City Council to staggered two-year terms. A majority of members is required to meet a quorum. Eighteen of the commission’s members are voting members, including three members from the aviation industry; six members from the community; two members from the travel and tourism industry; four members from the business community; one member from the ground transportation industry; one member representing an airport business lessee; and one member from Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG). The one non-voting member is a representative of the Federal Aviation Administration. 

Unless otherwise posted, meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. on the third floor of the Airport Center, 10100 Reunion Drive, San Antonio, TX 78216.
