Ramirez Community Center Murals Opportunity

The City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture has identified the Ramirez Community Center at Arnold Park as an opportunity for two outdoor public art murals (see two red circles below). The Department of Arts & Culture is at the beginning stages of the public art process, and we need your input on what themes you’d like to see explored in the murals’ design.

This project will include two different murals on two separate walls. The first mural, Figure 1 Wall 1, measures 25’0” x 62’6” and faces the basketball courts. The second mural, Figure 2 Wall 2, measures 22’4” x 43’0” and faces Zarzamora Street.

El Departamento de Arte y Cultura de la Ciudad de San Antonio ha identificado el Centro Comunitario Ramírez en el Parque Arnold como una oportunidad para dos murales de arte público al aire libre (vea los dos círculos rojos a continuación).
