Um
Im Mai 2021 stimmte die San Antonio Housing Commission für die Bildung von Unterausschüssen, die sich mit spezifischen Maßnahmen des 2018 vom Rat angenommenen Housing Policy Framework (HPF) befassen sollen. Am 21. Dezember 2021 wurde der Strategic Housing Implementation Plan (SHIP) angenommen und die Unterausschüsse konzentrierten ihre Bemühungen auf die Unterstützung der SHIP-Initiativen, zu denen auch die unvollständigen Strategien des HPF gehören. Einer dieser Unterausschüsse ist der Unterausschuss für öffentliches Engagement und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit.
Aufladung
Der Unterausschuss für öffentliches Engagement und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit hat die Aufgabe, die Öffentlichkeit wirksam einzubinden, indem er die öffentliche Beteiligung der Abteilung Nachbarschafts- und Wohnungsdienst in Bezug auf die als Reaktion auf den Wohnungspolitikrahmen und den strategischen Wohnungsbauplan (SHIP) entwickelten Richtlinien leitet, unterstützt und überwacht. Der Unterausschuss versucht, Teilen der Gemeinschaft eine Stimme zu geben, die traditionell unterrepräsentiert sind, aber einen bedeutenden Teil der Bevölkerung ausmachen, darunter, aber nicht beschränkt auf, diejenigen, die am stärksten von Wohnungsunsicherheit betroffen sind.
Ziele
- Unterstützen Sie die Mitarbeiter bei der Kontaktaufnahme mit Communities über Facebook, NextDoor, E-Mail, Mailings, Meetings und Block Walking.
- Erhöhung der Anzahl öffentlicher Kommentare zu Themen auf der Tagesordnung der Wohnungsbaukommission
- Binden Sie die Medien Print und Digital ein
- Entwürfe von Stellungnahmen für die Medien/Meinungsbeiträge zur Veröffentlichung durch die Wohnungsbaukommission
- Antragsentwurf für Nicht-Kommissionsmitglieder
- Bitten Sie bestimmte Gruppen wie HOAs, bei Bedarf um Kommentare zu bestimmten Themen
