La Villita, 418 Villita St.
Each year, the historic downtown village of La Villita takes center stage as 85,000 visitors gather for four nights to celebrate the city's unique heritage at "A Night in Old San Antonio." Hundreds of elaborately decorated food and drink booths and more than a dozen nonstop entertainment stages represent the diverse cultures and customs of our city in 15 heritage-themed areas.

Starving Artist Art Show

Hosted by the Starving Artist Galley of La Villita, more than 150 artists and vendors from across the U.S. will showcase their merchandise. Proceeds from the annual art show will benefit the Little Church of La Villita.

Visit Centro de Artes!
Centro de Artes is now open, and featuring the works of New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program Exhibition - Round 2. The exhibit (on view to July 3, 2022) features works by 34 immigrant and first-generation artists in San Antonio representing 12 countries. Learn more and make plans to visit the gallery.

New Paleta-Inspired Scuplture on Display at
Historic Market Square
The steps of Centro de Artes Gallery, in Historic Market Square, now feature a large purple and blue hued paleta sculpture titled Sabor del Mercado by San Antonio Artist David Blancas. The City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture unveiled the artwork for all to enjoy just in time for Spring Break and warmer temperatures.

During Fiesta, the City’s Downtown Tuesday program will be temporarily suspended on Tuesday, April 5, for a Fiesta “siesta.” Event parking rates will apply at all City-operated lots and garages. Regular meter rates will also be in effect. Special event and parade attendees are advised that street closures may impact the availability of metered parking in some areas.
