Encino Park/Sienna Basin Drainage Improvements
Residents are currently experiencing property flooding in the neighborhood by flows from the detention pond. This project will construct a diversion channel and funnel the runoff into an existing storm drain system to alleviate flooding in the neighborhood from the detention pond.

Background:
During the May 2021 rain event, storm water overflowed from a nearby channel flooding adjacent properties and causing extended runoff in the street.
Proposed Design:
To alleviate this flooding, Public Works proposes to install a swale to redirect runoff to a new underground storm drain.
