Construction Updates:
Construction to Start - Sonterra Road Extension (Sonterra Road to Loop 1604) Phase 1
Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, August 5, on a project to add a four-lane extension with curbs and a raised center median to the Sonterra Road. The completed project will include a roundabout at the intersection of Sonterra and Gold Canyon, as well as roadway lighting in the medians. There will be improvements to drainage, utility adjustments, and new pedestrian side walks on either side of the extension.
Phase 1 will begin on Monday.
- Northern Community Bible Church driveway will be closed during Phase 1.
- Gold Canyone driveway will be open with no construction activities during Phase 1.
- Vehicles in the path of the project will be towed to a nearby street.
