道路政策の完全な改訂
完全な街路政策は、公共の道路に投資することでコミュニティに投資する政策です。すべての道路が同じように適応または改善されるわけではないことを認識しながら、安全性とアクセシビリティを中心とした道路設計に対して状況に基づいたアプローチを採用しています。サンアントニオ市は、2011 年から完全な道路政策を更新しています。交通局は 2023 年に同等の都市の同様の政策を検討し、完全な道路政策、その基準、実装を改善することで、サンアントニオ市がより良い都市計画を実現できるようになることがわかりました。すべての道路利用者がアクセスできる意味のある通り。

設計ガイドに掲載する道路の種類について、皆様のご協力をお願いいたします。 これらの道路の種類（「類型」と呼ばれます）はそれぞれ役割が異なり、そこで行われる交通や活動に対応するために設計も異なります。現在、検討対象となる道路の種類案は以下の6つです。
- 農地利用のための農村道路
- レクリエーションやオープンスペース周辺の公園通り
- 一戸建て住宅街の近隣道路
- 商業施設や大きな駐車場に囲まれた接続道路
- 工業地帯は倉庫や製造工場を囲んでいた
- ビジネス、住宅、娯楽が混在し、多くの人が行き交う主要道路/メインストリート。
