We need your help developing some types of streets for the Design Guide. Each of these types of streets (called "typologies") has a different job and is designed differently to handle the traffic and activity that happens on them. Right now we have 6 draft street types to consider:

  • Rural roads for agricultural land use
  • Park  streets in and around recreation and open spaces
  • Neighborhood streets in single family neighborhoods
  • Connector streets surrounded by commercial businesses and big parking lots
  • Industrial streets surrounded warehouses and manufacturing
  • Primary/Main streets surrounded by a mix of businesses, housing, entertainment, and lots of foot traffic.
