Le sous-comité de suppression des obstacles au développement de logements abordables (RBSC) est chargé de recommander des améliorations au code de développement unifié et à d'autres processus de la ville pour faciliter le développement de logements plus abordables à San Antonio. Les objectifs sont de fournir à court terme les modifications proposées à la CDU pour le cycle de modification de la CDU de 2022. Les objectifs à moyen terme sont de surveiller le processus de modification de la CDU et d'identifier et de proposer des changements de processus à d'autres processus de la Ville. À long terme, le sous-comité soumettra des recommandations pour des mises à jour d'autres processus de la Ville.
Ce travail a commencé en 2019 pour se concentrer sur la réduction du fardeau des coûts, la suppression des obstacles au développement de l'ADU et d'autres politiques liées au logement abordable. Les travaux ont été interrompus en 2020 en raison de la pandémie mais reprennent en 2021.
Le sous-comité concentrera ses travaux de novembre 2021 à janvier 2022 sur la proposition d'amendements à la CDU pour supprimer les obstacles réglementaires au logement abordable. Le NHSD a créé ce groupe de travail technique sur l'élimination des obstacles à la production et à la préservation de logements abordables, comme le recommande le cadre de politique du logement du maire. Le groupe est devenu un sous-comité de la Commission du logement en octobre 2021.
Stratégies de révision de l'UCD pour éliminer les obstacles réglementaires au logement abordable. Voici une liste courante des stratégies possibles qui pourraient être discutées comme moyen d'éliminer les obstacles réglementaires au logement abordable. Removing Barriers Subcommittee Meeting - April 18, 2023
This work began in 2019 to focus on reducing cost burden, removing barriers to ADU development, and other policies related to affordable housing. The work was paused in 2020 due to the pandemic but is resuming in 2021. The subcommittee will be focusing the work during the months of November 2021-January 2022 on proposing amendments to the UDC to remove regulatory barriers to affordable housing. NHSD established this technical working group on removing barriers to the production and preservation of affordable housing as recommended by the Mayor’s Housing Policy Framework.
