You are invited to a free dinner to hear women across the City discuss what it takes to serve on a City of San Antonio Board or Commission. Current women board and commission members will talk about the benefits of service and overcoming obstacles. If you have ever wondered about what it means to serve your City, join us for this wonderful opportunity! This free event will include a buffet dinner.

You are invited to a live panel discussion and dinner on increasing women and gender diversity in the City of San Antonio's Boards and Commissions. The event is organized by the City of San Antonio's Department of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility, Office of the City Clerk, and District 4 City Council Office. Join us in empowering women and strengthening our community through increased gender diversity in civic leadership. The event includes a free dinner and provides an opportunity to hear from women across the City discussing what it takes to serve on a City of San Antonio Board or Commission and get involved. Current board and commission members will discuss service benefits and share how they overcame obstacles. If you have ever wondered what it means to serve your City, don't miss out on this beautiful opportunity!

- This event is free and open to the public.
- Will childcare be available?
- There will not be childcare on site. We have a voucher program for our boards and commissions. Attendees of this event will be able to access this resource as well. Please get in touch with the DEIA Department for more information at 210-207-8911 or [email protected].
- Is this event for women only?
- Absolutely not! Anyone who wants to learn more about serving on a board or commission may attend.
- What is the age limit for coming?
- This event is targeted at people old enough to serve on boards and commissions. Some of those include youth boards and commissions. However, minors should be accompanied by an adult.
